Aubrey & Chad’s 10 Catawba Wedding- Charlotte Wedding Photographer

Last Weekend I got to document Aubrey and Chad’s AMAZING day! How do I even begin to describe this wedding that was absolutely perfect! The weather was AMAZING, another wonderful warm spring day with lots of sunshine and love!! Fair warning before you keep reading any further: prepare for photo overload!

We started at the gorgeous mansion that Aubrey and her besties rented to get ready at! I walked in and immediately wanted to just bring my suitcase and move in there (Liam can use the extra room for his gazillion toys!!). I got to spend several hours with Aubrey’s sweet friends and family, and I enjoyed every minute! Documenting the bride as she is getting ready for the most important day in her life is one of my FAVORITE parts in photographing weddings. The getting ready room is always so packed with emotions and excitement and there are a million little moments for me to capture. If you follow my photography, you must know that I am all about those little moments. 

The ceremony was held at Oakhurst Baptist Church in Charlotte. The ceremony was fantastic! The look on Chad’s face when he saw Aubrey was priceless!! You cannot see it in the pictures, but when Aubrey was walking down the Aisle, Chad was jumping up and down from excitement. It was one of the sweetest walking down the aisle moments I have ever seen! 

Photographing these two was an absolute dream. You can feel the enormous love they have for each other and the pure happiness! The made my job incredibly easy, but also very hard, because choosing my favorites to blog was nearly impossible! At one point while I was taking Aubrey’s bridal portraits I actually said the words “I LOVE YOU”, because I had so much fun photographing her. 

Oakhurst Baptist Church is not only where these two got married, but it is also the place they MET! How sweet is that?! We actually got to take some portraits at the exact spot that they first met, and that was such a beautiful moment! I am so grateful I got to be a part of this!

The reception took place at 10 Catawba in Belmont and it was SO MUCH FUN! The music was amazing and EVERYBODY was dancing! Thank you so much to the INCREDIBLE team of Couple of DJ’s! The energy in the room was amazing, and you can just tell that everyday is SO HAPPY for these two. 

Chad & Aubrey, you guys are a fantastic couple! The love that you have is inspiring and just so fun to be around! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day!
